Nancy van de Ven of Ghidinelli Racing finished second at the second round of the Italian Women’s motocross championships in Gazzane. Van de ven came into the event as championship leader, but had trouble on the technical track.
“It was an extremely difficult track, a real old school affair with big stutter bumps and curved inclines,” Nancy reported. “It was a very technical track that I had never been to before, and it took a lot of getting used to.”
Van de Ven claimed the holeshot in race one, but struggled to find good lines and keep a good tempo. She did the best under the circumstances, and finished second in both races. On a day of two’s , this was also her overall result for the day and her championship standing.
