Nancy Van De Ven Claims Victory At  Women Of Nations In Poland

Nancy van de Ven of the No Fear Yamaha team won the Women of Nations individual honours at Gdansk in Poland. Van de Ven and Shana van der Vlist also secured the country trophy for The Netherlands.  They won the trophy before in 2017, but in 2018, some setbacks kept them to third place in the country rankings.

Van de Ven was convincing from her very first session, and posted the fastest training time. She also surged to victory in the qualifying race, and that gave her confidence for Sunday.

Clearly, Van de Ven was not in any mood to brook opposition, and she made as much clear also on Sunday when she won both heats in muddy conditions. This secured individual honours for her, and also played a major role in claiming gold for the Dutch team.

The season is as good as over for Nancy. She will take a short break before starting preparations for the 2020 season in all earnest.

Nations classification:
1 The Netherlands 5 Pnt
2 Germany 11 Pnt
3 Denmark 14 Pnt
4 Belgium 23 Pnt
5 Sweden 23 Pnt
