Successful Knee Operation For Nancy Van De Ven

Nancy van de Ven underwent a successful operation to her knee yesterday. Van de ven injured her knee in the first heat of the Czech GP last weekend, but battled on nonetheless to finish third overall, with second and fourth places in the heats respectively.

During a subsequent medical check-up, she was diagnosed with a torn cartilage and a broken meniscus. Van de ven underwent a successful operation on Tuesday.

If the recovery goes according to plan, Van de Ven will be ready for action in time for the next GP at Imola. The race is scheduled for 17 and 18 August. Van de Ven is currently second in the world standings, 14 points adrift of Courtney Duncan.
